We want to thank all of you for using Bitmap2Material over the past few years, we never thought this little handy tool would have such success and we hope you will be able to try out the new AI Image to Material very soon! You can see a few results from our April keynote here. The quality generated by this new tools is incredible and miles better than Bitmap2Material can ever hope to produce, so this is where our efforts will be focused from now on. This new feature, like Bitmap2Material, allows you to generate a full material from a single image but rather than using simple image processing, the AI can recognize shapes and objects in the image and generate a normal map and other channels from it. As you may be aware, Substance Alchemist, available through the Substance subscription, now includes a similar version of Bitmap2Material and will add a new AI powered Image to Material feature in its next update. Hi everyone, last week we reduced the price of Bitmap2Material from $99.99 to $49.99 and the Pro version from $149.99 to 74.99$.īitmap2Material, after 6 years of loyal service, is reaching its end of life and will not receive any further update.
